The Smart Security Technology (SST2017) event, held in Rotterdam on 1st June, proved a great success for ourselves with end clients and other suppliers to Smart SD showing enormous interest in the range of biometric fingerprint readers.

Stephen Thompson, Export Sales Manager for ievo Ltd commented, “The SST2017 exhibition is organised by Smart SD, our Benelux distributor, and attracted some 2,000 visitors. It was the third time we have supported their security event and it gives us the opportunity to meet a variety of both existing and potential customers and talk to other manufacturers. This year, particularly, we had a great response and the ievo brand is becoming well known and synonymous with biometric fingerprint readers.”

“Smart SD are true partner in every sense of the word, working with a dedicated team with whom we have a great relationship, we are able to explore new ideas and strengthen the solutions we provide end users. We’ve worked together for over six years now and I commit one week per month to territory visits providing training and technical support to their sales, installation teams and assisting end user demonstrations and site visits. It has been, and continues to be, a very successful relationship and they have grown sales of our products some 25% in the last year alone.”

The products are well designed, superbly engineered and integrate seamlessly with our other software solutions to provide bespoke systems to a client’s security challenges.”

Stephen Thompson continued, “Our distributor network is a vital part of our export success. We are building similar mutually beneficial relationships in the UAE and currently have a strong installer network in South African territories, with a wider expansion strategy taking over the next 5 years. The delivery model is the same, irrelevant of location in that we become part of a distributors’ team, providing a bespoke service.”
